Responsibilities
- Execute month-end and quarter-end closing procedures with precision and efficiency during weekend shifts.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze variance reports, financial statements, and budget forecasts.
- Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and audit documentation.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Collaborate with the full-time team to resolve complex accounting discrepancies and ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably with weekend shift exposure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software.
- Deep understanding of GAAP, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and internal controls.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced weekend environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
