Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the weekly closing process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and balance sheets.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audits and tax filings.
- Review and approve timesheets, payroll, and expense reports.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proven proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently during weekend shifts.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
