Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage weekend accounts payable/receivable processing and ensure timely payment cycles
- Conduct weekend bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing procedures during weekend shifts
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Assist with weekend payroll processing and tax-related documentation
- Collaborate with finance team to ensure seamless transition between weekend and weekday operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience with weekend shift availability
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Exceptional attention to detail with error reconciliation skills
- Ability to work independently in a weekend-only environment
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- Experience with casino/hospitality accounting highly desirable
