Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Ensure all financial data is accurately entered into our accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite).
- Assist the Finance Director with year-end audit preparations and tax filings.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of prior accounting experience, preferably in a part-time or weekend capacity.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel skills a plus).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
