Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures accurately during the weekend shift.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with a high degree of precision.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and tax documentation.
- Ensure all financial data is organized, secure, and compliant with company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Candidate status is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
