Responsibilities
- Execute daily bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations with high precision.
- Process and verify weekly payroll entries and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Prepare and audit financial reports, trial balances, and balance sheets for the weekend close.
- Ensure strict adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and internal control policies.
- Review and code incoming invoices for accuracy and approval.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly tax filings and year-end audit schedules.
- Communicate financial discrepancies and reconciliation issues to the senior finance team promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or active CPA candidate is highly preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in general accounting, financial reporting, or auditing.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
