Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a weekly basis.
- Process and verify weekly payroll for department staff.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly tax filings and audits.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for financial documentation.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data promptly.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience; experience with weekend shifts is a plus.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during off-hours.
