Responsibilities
- Manage monthly close processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during weekend hours
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles with weekend transaction processing
- Implement and optimize internal controls for weekend accounting operations
- Lead month-end reporting with strict Saturday deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and SAP
- Strong weekend shift availability (Saturday-Sunday 8AM-5PM)
- Expertise in SOX compliance and internal controls
- Proven ability to meet tight reporting deadlines
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
