Responsibilities
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all accounts are balanced accurately by the end of the weekend.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze weekly financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, for leadership review.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor payments, and track incoming payments to ensure timely and accurate recording.
- Month-End Close Support: Assist in the month-end close process by gathering necessary data and preparing accruals during the weekend window.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with federal and state regulations, including GAAP standards.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and secure digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably with weekend shift availability.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with the finance team.
