Your Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-week financial reconciliations and account closures with 100% accuracy.
- Prepare weekly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable tasks for the weekend period.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly tax filings and reporting.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Collaborate with the week-day accounting team to ensure seamless data continuity.
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and numbers.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during weekend shifts.
- Must be located in or willing to commute to El Paso, TX.
