Responsibilities
- Oversee the weekly closing process and financial reporting.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to the penny.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll and accruals.
- Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for financial documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1-3 years of experience in general ledger accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
