Responsibilities
- Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures during weekend shifts.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts with precision.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and budget adjustments.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documentation and audit schedules.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Collaborate with the AP/AR team to resolve outstanding discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CPA certification is a significant plus but not strictly required.
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Must be available to work a consistent weekend schedule.
