Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle accounting tasks including journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Manage weekend financial reporting and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Assist with month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Process payroll transactions and maintain compliance with federal/state regulations
- Collaborate with weekday team to ensure seamless financial operations
- Implement internal controls and identify process improvement opportunities
- Support audits and prepare documentation for regulatory reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with weekend shift availability
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Minnesota financial regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with high accuracy in financial data
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams
