Responsibilities
- Manage weekend accounts payable/receivable processing and reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with weekend-specific reporting deadlines
- Handle weekend payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Conduct weekend bank reconciliations and journal entry maintenance
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes during weekend shifts
- Assist with internal audits and financial controls implementation
- Collaborate with weekday team for seamless financial operations continuity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with weekend shift availability
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (SAP experience a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently during weekend hours with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of GAAP and Illinois tax regulations
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team coordination
