Responsibilities
- Perform daily financial transaction processing and bank reconciliation for the weekend period.
- Prepare and review weekly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable tasks to ensure timely settlements.
- Assist in the month-end close procedures by preparing necessary journal entries and schedules.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and optimize processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in general accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail during weekend shifts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
