As a key member of our off-cycle operations, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records during critical processing periods. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to utilize their expertise in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and account reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy.
- Process weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time.
- Prepare and post journal entries for weekend transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Review and approve invoices and expense reports.
- Support the month-end close process by gathering and analyzing data.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with a focus on weekend shifts or high-volume processing.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
