Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute the month-end and year-end closing procedures with precision.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and external audit support.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely processing.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Review and approve journal entries and general ledger adjustments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities during weekend shifts.
