As a Weekend Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial integrity and ensuring accurate reporting during critical business operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve complex accounting discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a weekend shift role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekends.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
