Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures and reconcile accounts
- Process payroll transactions and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor communications
- Assist with audit preparations and documentation requests
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems
- Support ad-hoc financial modeling and forecasting projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with weekend shift availability
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Maryland tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Previous experience with financial audits required
