Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile weekend financial transactions using QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations during weekend operations
- Coordinate with weekday accounting team for seamless month-end closes
- Process payroll and expense reports with weekend-specific deadlines
- Conduct internal audits for weekend financial activities
- Implement process improvements for weekend accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of public accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
