Responsibilities
- Perform weekend account reconciliations and transaction reviews
- Prepare weekly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processing during off-peak hours
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audits
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and SAP
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Support tax preparation activities as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with weekend shift availability
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during non-business hours
- Knowledge of MN state tax regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
