Responsibilities
- Execute weekend month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Manage high-volume accounts payable/receivable for government contractors
- Prepare complex financial statements and compliance documentation
- Conduct internal audits and SOX compliance checks
- Oversee weekend payroll processing for multi-state operations
- Coordinate with weekday team for seamless financial handoffs
- Utilize Oracle NetSuite for real-time financial reporting
Qualifications
- CPA license or active CPA candidacy required
- 5+ years public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle NetSuite and Excel
- Federal contracting accounting experience essential
- SOX 404 compliance certification preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Clearances for federal financial systems access
- Weekend availability non-negotiable (Sat/Sun 8am-4pm)
