Responsibilities
- Manage end-of-week financial close activities, including general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Process and post daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and manage petty cash funds.
- Review and approve accounts payable and receivable entries.
- Support the internal audit process by providing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification or equivalent professional experience is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably with a focus on general ledger and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during weekend shifts.
