Responsibilities
- Manage weekend accounts payable/receivable processing and reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze weekend financial reports for senior leadership review
- Assist with month-end closing activities including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls during weekend operations
- Support weekend payroll processing and tax documentation preparation
- Collaborate with weekday accounting team for seamless financial operations
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial documentation systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or similar accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail with error-precision in financial data
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA) preferred but not required
