Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile high-volume weekend transactions across multiple client portfolios
- Prepare month-end closing reports with strict Sunday deadlines
- Conduct weekend audits for government-contracted entities
- Manage weekend accounts payable/receivable cycles with 24-hour turnaround
- Generate weekend cash flow projections for DC-based nonprofits
- Collaborate with weekday team via secure cloud platforms
- Ensure weekend compliance with DC financial regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years weekend accounting experience in DC metro area
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel advanced functions
- Government contract accounting familiarity
- Ability to work independently under tight weekend deadlines
- Active DC CPA license or in-progress certification
- Weekend availability non-negotiable (Sat-Sun 8am-4pm)
