Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reconciliations
- Manage weekend payroll processing and employee expense reports
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Handle accounts payable/receivable during weekend operations
- Support VAT returns and tax compliance tasks
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and Sage software
- Collaborate with weekday team for financial continuity
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years in accounting/bookkeeping role
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Proven weekend shift availability (Saturdays & Sundays)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- UK tax and regulatory compliance knowledge
- Part-time accounting experience preferred
