Responsibilities
- Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures specifically for the weekend shift cycle.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, variance analysis, and general ledger maintenance.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls and policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable tasks during peak weekend periods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Must be available and willing to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) and holidays.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is a plus.
