Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Conduct tax research and provide compliance guidance on complex tax matters
- Collaborate with senior advisors to develop tax-saving strategies for clients
- Manage client relationships and communicate tax implications clearly
- Utilize tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, CCH) for efficient processing
- Stay updated on evolving tax laws and regulatory changes
- Assist in tax audits and ensure documentation accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and Oregon tax codes
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid Oregon CPA license or actively pursuing certification
