Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle bookkeeping including A/P, A/R, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis and management summaries
- Maintain accurate QuickBooks Online databases with monthly client reporting
- Coordinate with tax professionals for quarterly filings and year-end preparations
- Implement internal controls and process improvements for 15+ clients
- Lead month-end closing procedures with strict deadline adherence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of comprehensive bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP proficiency
- Proven experience in multi-client bookkeeping environments
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Minnesota sales tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with 99.9% accuracy in reconciliations
- Remote work experience with reliable high-speed internet
