Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) and monthly reports
- Oversee QuickBooks data entry and system optimization
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with auditors during tax season and financial reviews
- Implement process improvements for financial workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent certification
- Expert knowledge of GAAP principles and payroll processing
- Proven ability to manage month-end closing procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
