Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare month-end/year-end financial statements and reconciliation reports
- Oversee A/P, A/R, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Collaborate with CFOs on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain organized digital filing systems with audit-ready documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven expertise in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Experience with multi-state payroll and sales tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with 0% error tolerance
- Strong communication skills for client consultations
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage)
