Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly and annual audits
- Train junior bookkeepers on proprietary accounting workflows
- Advise clients on cash flow optimization and tax preparation strategies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with small businesses
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Associates degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Proven track record of managing 20+ client portfolios simultaneously
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a major plus
- Exceptional attention to detail with 0% error tolerance
- Strong communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration
