Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss analyses
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and California state tax codes
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly filings and year-end audits
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain organized digital filing systems with audit-ready documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proven expertise in multi-entity accounting and complex reconciliation
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- Strong understanding of California sales tax regulations and payroll laws
