Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and monthly reconciliation cycles
- Process complex payroll, accounts payable/receivable with multi-entity coordination
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance analysis
- Manage sales tax filings and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Oversee bank account reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
- Implement process improvements for financial reporting efficiency
- Coordinate audits and prepare supporting documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping with multi-company experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel (advanced functions)
- CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- Deep understanding of GAAP and Texas tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error financial reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
