Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and monthly financial statements for 15+ corporate clients
- Process complex payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis
- Oversee sales tax filings and compliance for multi-state operations
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online for client portfolios
- Coordinate year-end audits and tax preparation with external CPA firms
- Mentor junior bookkeepers and improve departmental workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of comprehensive bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel (advanced functions), and Xero
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- Proven track record of managing $1M+ client accounts
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, FASB, and Florida tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with 0% reconciliation error history
- Strong analytical skills for financial forecasting and trend analysis
