Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end billing processes for corporate clients and insurance payers
- Analyze and resolve billing discrepancies with precision and urgency
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate charge capture and documentation
- Generate monthly revenue reports and identify optimization opportunities
- Manage insurance claim submissions and follow-up on outstanding payments
- Ensure HIPAA and ACA compliance in all billing activities
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and software systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding and billing software (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) required
- Proven track record of reducing AR days and improving cash flow
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field
