Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes with strict deadlines
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for C-suite stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations and audit requirements
- Lead process improvement initiatives using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and complex reconciliations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and ERP proficiency
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Active CPA license required
