Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger and financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local taxes accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and budgeting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
