Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports to ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead accounts reconciliation processes for bank accounts, credit cards, and investment portfolios
- Implement and optimize internal controls to mitigate financial risks and enhance audit readiness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling initiatives
- Utilize QuickBooks and ERP systems to streamline accounting workflows and data accuracy
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100, NetSuite)
- Proven track record in month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
- Knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and industry compliance standards
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with remote teams and clients
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
