Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with strict adherence to GAAP standards
- Manage complex general ledger operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with precision and timeliness
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure financial data integrity and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling initiatives
- Conduct in-depth financial audits and prepare supporting documentation for external reviews
- Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making and growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification strongly preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, tax preparation, and auditing procedures
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all financial documentation
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting financial information to stakeholders
