Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting processes including GL maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Prepare management reports and board presentations with actionable insights
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external auditor communications
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA
- Demonstrated experience with complex reconciliations and financial modeling
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
