Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes while providing variance analysis to executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and optimize cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial modeling and strategic initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement projects
- Prepare detailed financial statements and executive dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audits
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
