Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for diverse client portfolios
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and state-specific tax requirements in Texas
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead internal audits and implement robust internal controls
- Maintain accurate financial records using industry-standard accounting software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial insights to stakeholders
