Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL reconciliation, month-end/quarter-end closings, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare and submit accurate tax filings and compliance documentation
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives while collaborating with department heads
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial integrity
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and cash flow management
- Support external audits and provide documentation as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- Proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced expertise in QuickBooks, Excel (including VLOOKUP/PivotTables), and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience with tax preparation and compliance regulations
