Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with meticulous attention to detail
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Support external audits and tax preparation processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Deep understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize complex projects
