Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance commentary
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Lead internal control audits and compliance documentation for SOX requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Provide financial insights to support executive decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax compliance, and SOX regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects independently
