Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end/quarter-end closings, and financial reporting
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes ensuring timely reconciliations and compliance
- Conduct financial analysis, variance reporting, and budget forecasting for executive leadership
- Oversee tax preparation, audits, and regulatory compliance (GAAP/FASB)
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and automation tools
- Mentor junior accounting staff and collaborate with cross-functional departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
