Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Oversee tax compliance filings and audit preparation with external auditors
- Develop and maintain internal accounting controls and reporting systems
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for department heads
- Lead month-end closing processes and ensure timely financial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax filings and audit processes
