Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for executive stakeholders
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports for strategic planning
- Oversee payroll processing and tax reporting
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience with SOX compliance audits
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
