Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable/receivable for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheets
- Process payroll and tax filings accurately and on time
- Implement and maintain accounting systems (QuickBooks/Xero)
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Generate financial reports for client decision-making
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks/Xero and Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or equivalent preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance
- Proven ability to manage remote workflows independently
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance required
